It was very easy to assemble and as you can see from the photo, cats really enjoyed it, scratching it (we had the only downside is that the notepad on the back can't be moved for further use, but the company says they are working on redesigning it so it can be reused. I told them just to let them know, that it was frustrating and they immediately offered to send another item in as a replacement We wouldn't recommend the litter unless you can put a closed box in it but this one Cat tree is definitely a hit.
