Review on πŸ”§ Dorman M630295 Brake Master Cylinder Review & Buying Guide by Alejandro Raney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2004 Honda Accord 2.4L Runs smooth. Installation

I have replaced over 10 different master cylinders. I've been a mechanic since high school and a resident engineer doing maintenance on construction equipment. My girlfriend's master cylinder started leaking, I said no problem, went to Orielli, they had it in stock, bought it at Brakebest. During assembly I was careful not to over tighten the threads on the output lines, very hard hand tightening is almost impossible so a wrench was used. I didn't remove the thread, I struggled to start it manually. The bleeding on a bench was surprising as the air bubbles kept getting smaller but never completely gone, but I installed it and when bleeding the brakes I found them difficult to bleed, almost impossible even after using the Mityvac to remove the liquid. After giving up the shameful loss while my girlfriend, father and brothers watched. I found the Brakebest part to be bad, but just to be sure I ordered this Dorman master cylinder. hose nuts all the way down by hand. I saw more fluid on each wheel cylinder, I didn't even use Mityvac on the rear drums. Quality craftsmanship at a competitive price. Orielly's is losing my business. I buy from those who sell Dorman like Napa, even Revain. The next fight is to get part of Brakebest Orielly back or they lose my business and I'm telling everyone I know that. My uncle's store never buys from Orielli's Napa account. The convenience of the Orielly cost me time, money, and travel. My girlfriend lives 60 km away from me.
