Update #2: These clips are of very very poor quality. I want to rate "0" stars. Since I installed it almost 2 months ago, 2 hooks on 2 clips broke off. These clips and lights haven't been touched since I installed them, but they broke. The plastic is of very poor quality. Waste of money and time! Update: Just a few hours after writing my first review, I tried to make small changes to the garlands I hung on these clips. I barely unhooked the clip and it broke off. I do NOT recommend these clips. LOW QUALITY. My first tip: I've used clamps to attach fairy lights around smooth metal window frames, indoors, out of direct sunlight. I followed the instructions exactly for the surface preparation and attachment. It was dry and about 72 degrees outside. The 4 adhesive clips don't stick to the window frame at all. The adhesive strips felt sticky but didn't stick. I put on new strips of tape and stuck them in the same places - stuck well this time (4 strips of tape wasted). 3 "hooks" on the clips came loose while I was using the flashlights. I didn't tighten the hooks too much, but the plastic hooks were weak and broke. Nice design idea but disappointing. I expect better quality for the money, especially from 3M products. I do not recommend this.
