This board CAN be great and really does whatever you need to add new things to it. It's got plenty of ports, the RGB is good without being over the top and it's pretty easy to figure out where everything should be. Problems: A small problem is that the board doesn't come with a pre-installed motherboard speaker. It's not usually a big deal, and it's very cheap to get one when you need one (it's not a speaker you'd use for gaming or anything, but to diagnose the motherboard yourself). Still, it seems odd that a nearly $200 board can't include a 20-cent speaker. However, the BIG issue is that while the board supports 9th Gen processors, it doesn't come with the latest BIOS update, or at least mine doesn't. This means that while you can put in a 9th Gen Intel processor and the BIOS will recognize it and pass all POST tests, it will never boot. The only way to fix this is to install the 8th gen processor first and manually update the BIOS (which is quite painful, but not very difficult). However, once you've already installed the CPU, you'll need to take it out and hopefully find someone who has a compatible CPU just to get it in a usable state. If you take it to a computer repair shop, the current price for this procedure is around $200. I was fortunate to know someone who builds computers as a hobby who did it for me for $45, but I didn't have to pay any money to support something the box ALREADY SAYS WAS SUPPORTED. This is really unacceptable for Gigabyte and I would not buy a board from them again. After finally doing this everything works great and I have no issues with this board but I just can't believe Gigabyte is promoting this. 9th generation if it is not ready to use out of the box. Many people building a new computer may not just have an extra processor to upgrade to provide support.
