I bought this pad mainly because it has three fans on top as my laptop vents are on the top of the laptop. The laptop's cooling pad looks thin, but it's actually not that thin. It has a height setting limitation where you can only have one height setting. The fans are quiet, but the airflow is very weak. This hardly affected the cooling of the laptop. Another disadvantage of this cooling pad is that the USB ports are located on the left side of the pad and not on the back of the pad. My laptop does not have USB ports on the left side and the included USB cable is not long enough to run behind the laptop to the right of my laptop's USB port. This will allow the cable to run under the laptop. I could buy a longer USB cable but that would also increase the cost. I would recommend buying a laptop cooling pad that has the power adapter on the back of the stand rather than on the left or right side of the stand.
