Unfortunately it is NOT 100% cotton at all. It's not clear what percentage of cotton is used, but based on how the paint cures I'm guessing it's somewhere around 60%. . If you plan to use them for dye inks, your colors will become dull, uninteresting and fade quickly because Procion dyes cannot bond with the synthetic material used. I strongly encourage you to look into other cases, even if they cost a few bucks more for the same amount. If you are buying them for normal use please note that they should NOT be bleached as they contain synthetic material which will be destroyed. Bleach (as directed on the label).
