Strong. Intact. Stable. This laptop stand required careful research on what would work best for my laptop. I needed a sturdy, wide, and more solid footrest to support the computer. I have a 16.5 inch laptop and this kickstand system that holds my laptop in the frame without slipping really works. Competitors simply built a metal hook into the stand. This is absolute rubbish. If they had chosen a folding system like the one in this product instead, I would be their customer. Luckily not and overall I got a better product. This black smooth item appears to be much sturdier than the pictures and I am very glad I bought it.
