Yes, it's big enough for 25 lb dogs! a longer dog of medium to small size. My fluffy potato is a long mongrel. He is about 26 inches long from muzzle to buttocks and weighs about 25 to 27 pounds with small 4 inch legs (Pitbull/Dachshund mix). All the carriers that I looked at or thought I would say are for small dogs, around 10 pounds. When my friend lies on his back, he just freezes. Sometimes he tries to turn a little to sit down, but he doesn't panic like a flail, some dogs do! Lying on your back like a dog is a sign that many dogs become irritable or nervous at feeling so vulnerable. G and hold them in the cradle like a baby bump up to the sky, if they try to squirm and squirm or even bite or bark/squeak, it may not be the item you want at all.
