I bought these after seeing one on my son and immediately decided it was the only way (at least for me) to serve butter. I've always disliked spreading hard butter on toast etc and this works great. Keeps butter at room temperature and spreads easily. Just be sure to wrap it up there and press it down so it doesn't fall into the water. If you like really soft butter then this is what you need. This particular one isn't that big, but it suits me. So if you have a large family, check out the different sizes.
