Review on ☕ Bodum Bistro Nouveau French Press Coffee Maker 12 Cup: Review, Features, & Price by Dominique Robinson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

He does his job but is not happy.

I bought this to replace a beautiful purple 51 ounce Bodum Bean French Press that I broke while on crutches after surgery. I wanted to stick with this large size. I use it to brew some personalized tea drink mixes which are a blend of teas, herbs, elixirs and adaptogens. After an unsatisfactory attempt to replace the bean press, I settled on this more classic design. Given its simplicity, it feels overpriced and works just as well as any other press. Downgrading to 3 stars in my opinion for the handle design. it looks classy, i don't find the handle ergonomic at all and would exchange it immediately for a better design. This design flaw is compounded by the heavy weight of the filled 51-ounce bottle - a minor issue. for me to hold it and pour it. A more powerful design will work much better, at least for me. The swappable bottle is easy to find (as mentioned) and easy to swap out - a nice feature that's no doubt to come. to be useful.
