These filters are not a good copy of the advertised Holmes filters. They are shorter. While the girth is correct, the shorter height seems to affect performance. Materials of manufacture also affect performance. I believe Holmes filters are antimicrobial. That's definitely not true. I use my humidifier non-stop during the winter, and Holmes filters allow me to change the filter every month or two if I use distilled water. These filters must be changed every two weeks. The air that the humidifier expels starts to smell and the filters quickly become moldy. I think it might be worth buying genuine Holmes filters instead. Saving with them is offset by frequent filter changes.
