good for light slag
These are probably fine if you are TIG welding, but you may find it difficult to protect things from heavy slag. I used this to protect myself from rocket exhaust from a class O rocket engine and it had a 4ft diameter hole in the center like someone had thrown a baseball through a wet paper towel. They don't really advertise that it's suitable for that.
