Review on 🛠️ Gates Engine Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump - TCKWP298 by Robert Byrd

It's hard to tell how good this product is as I've only ridden it about 2000 miles. The product looks high quality. The tensioner that comes with the kit felt a bit cheap but with good tension although it serves its purpose, metal and plastic are a bit inferior to the factory tensioners. Pulleys are factory like, belt appears to be factory or near factory. The water pump, it's hard to say, isn't leaking yet. I wouldn't say the pumps are as good as the factory pumps in comparison (plastic and metal seem a bit inferior to factory quality), they seem to be a bit inferior in quality but I feel they are ok and hold . The supplied water pump gasket appears to be of good quality and does not leak. I only wish it was boxed (cardboard backing) and not just draped over it, mine was a little wrinkled and I had to bend it a bit. Overall I have a feeling this product will stand the test of time and at only $130 it won't beat it, it's better than spending $2,000 on a Toyota to get it done. Make sure to do your research before attempting this task. This task requires a lot of special tools and hours.
