I have read a lot about these two binoculars on the internet but couldn't decide until I looked at both binoculars. I don't think people want to try new products, but I bet you will. I looked at Celestron, Vortex, Zeiss and ScoopX. Visually, Zeiss Terra were a bit sharper than the others, but not enough to pay 2-3 times more. Next came the ScoopX which I think is very similar to the Vortex Diamondback and clearly superior to the Celestron Nature DX. In my opinion these are the best value binoculars on the market and the ScoopX 10x42 is impressive. Exceptionally comfortable for long glazing sessions, very bright and clear side to side, with long eye relief and good depth of field. The extra light collection and convenience make them an obvious choice for me. Here's my honest review of these binoculars: Color: Totally true color returning to us through the lens Edge-to-edge resolution - Slight fading at the edges, barely noticeable (to be expected on $1500 binoculars with a Field of view of 340+) center resolution is an excellent sharp and clear image. Clarity: Better than any other sub-$500 binoculars I've tried. : The lenses are multi-coated, the binoculars are filled with nitrogen, so no fogging. During our testing days, the temperature ranged from 68 to 20. Eye Relief: One of the best features ever, giving my eyes the space they need for a full view of the field of view. Field of View: Best 345 feet at 1000 yards or about 6.6 degrees. Size & Weight: Just what I need, about 6 inches long, 5.5 inches side to side and only 1.5 pounds. Guarantee: You can't get better than a lifetime guarantee. Free gift: The seller can provide customers with a free gift. What a surprise! I was amazed at how well made and crispy they are for the money I spent. These are the best binoculars I've bought this year.
