This is sold as a homebrew fitting which requires it to be used threaded, which is wrapped with Teflon tubing tape. Initially, I noticed that NPT threads have a minimum pitch diameter that precludes their use in high pressure piping systems, but for use in 3/4" OD and 1/2" ID inch silicone tubing, to create a high flow arc by sliding on a 3/4 hose fitting, that's excellent. Three turns of tape on the thread, which he puts together correctly. I have used several Dernord products including their tube filter and respect their products as quality imports.
