I usually don't write reviews because I just have nothing to say, but I will take my time with this product. To start, I need to use some context: About five months after I bought this pump, the handle stopped locking and I thought the item was defective. I called Revane and they said their return period had expired. They suggested that I contact the manufacturer, so I found their phone number in Taiwan and asked for the phone tree menu in English. As I speak Chinese I spoke Chinese to the operator but I'm pretty sure I can speak English with them. They immediately referred me to the right person and when I explained my problem they asked me to send a photo/video to their Facebook page via Facebook messenger. This person even gave me the best search terms to find his site. Once I uploaded the image/video, I found that the person I was talking to was also the person following Messenger. They responded immediately and asked if I could unscrew the handle and when I did I thought maybe the handle was just unscrewed and when I tightened it it closed again. Problem solved and the company provided great service so don't hesitate to give them a call. I wish the grip didn't unscrew as easily as it only happened when the pump was installed on my bike, but the company's five-star service more than made up for it. And it's nice to know that some aspects of this pump are repairable and replaceable, which is very important to me as a DIYer.
