Review on Resistant 4 Inch Brushed Nickel 89478 by Terry Moore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

finish the job for kitchen set

Plastic is cheap, but serves its purpose. It could be worse. I've bought one before that had these teeth all the way around and I couldn't get it in the hole. I ended up bending and destroying one. So I bought it and it was very easy to install. You should be able to get under the sink to tighten it. You have to be careful not to overtighten, otherwise you will tear and then there is no fixation, then you have to buy another one. You can't tell from above that it's a cheap piece of plastic. So in the end it makes sense. Also, I suggest taking a small tube of caulk, a clear caulk, to put a small bead around the hole before tightening to keep water from seeping through the top of the sink into the cabinet below, just as a precaution.

Pros
  • Sturdy plastic construction
Cons
  • There are nuances
