I thought it was great last night (first use - just received from Revain). Cold steam blows in my face from the dresser next to the bed. Maybe it would help me to sleep in our very hot bedroom that doesn't have a window that opens. But I woke up a few hours later and saw hot air blowing because the ice and water in the tiny tank had dried out. If it shuts off after the water runs out, that might be a bit tolerable and prevents me from getting it back, but I think I should do it because the main goal for me is to cool off a bit while trying to sleep. The device worked on all low settings. I could try it out in my office, buy a long USB cable and power adapter for it, and plug it into an extension cord, but I still have to fill up the tiny water storage box. .
