Good product when used within its capabilities. The material is quite flimsy, similar to a disposable aluminum baking pan with very sticky flypaper on the back. You can apply it to surfaces that need to dissipate heat, but DO NOT have it applied directly to the hottest parts of the engine or exhaust system; RADIANT HEAT is deflected and CONTACT HEAT damages many materials, even if the damage is insidious. The material tends to curl when you peel off the adhesive paper to reveal it, so peel off slowly and in warm conditions. GLOVES will help keep the glue clean. If you cut two pieces and glue to glue you can create a fairly thick shield which you can then wrap around vital pipes/wiring harnesses closer to the engine for maximum thermal protection. Secure with stainless steel cable ties for best results!
