A little weird
This is my first time using a bates hoop. I'm used to the old pieces of wood that don't have the weird ridge on the inner hoop. The gap between the posts seems bigger than the old-style tires, but it does what it's designed to do. A slight wrinkling of the fabric in the room doesn't matter at all. I love that they come in different colors, it tempts me to colorize the projects!
