The first four photos show the mount on a 5.3'02 engine installed in 1992. Chevy 1500 originally equipped with 4.3 V6. The bracket fits well and is made of high quality aluminum. As you can see from the photos I had no trouble installing it. I use a truck water pump on this car, the upper radiator hose was very close to the belt. By using a Chevy 5.3 cold air intake I was able to tie the upper radiator hose to the air cleaner and let the hose go, giving me extra clearance. Fifth photo is an 02 5.3 in a 1991 Chevy Caprice, we run a Firebird intake and water pump, the bracket fits snugly on these, but the connector ends under the bracket and I can't mount it that way. . I'm sure if I really wanted to I could figure it out in this configuration. The customer's A/C compressor in the Caprice needs repairs, so we'll find an r4 with a different connector orientation.
