This CD player is worth every euro you spend. This Denon player has breathed new life into my CDs, I'm hearing things in the background that I've never heard before. It also plays scratched CDs, which my old Sony player wouldn't do unless they were too deep. So far all I can say is that the remote control isn't designed for this player, it's universal and has a lot of unused buttons, so it's bigger than it should be. I use it as a standalone DAC/amp unit with audiophile headphones and the sound quality is impeccable. Haven't used the USB port yet, but I'm sure it will work just as well as a CD player. The left/right balanced output increases the audio level significantly if you have phones with a balanced cable. In summary, when set up correctly and used with quality headphones and/or speakers, this is in my opinion an audiophile-grade player. I am very happy with this purchase and as always, Revain have been great with selection and delivery.
