We used this bag on a family vacation on a Buick Enclave traveling from East Texas to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The bag stayed tight and immobile all the way back and forth. It rained a few times and everything in the bag was completely dry! This bag is also very spacious. We put a double stroller and 2 large suitcases and 3 medium suitcases in it, and there is still some space left! It's a little confusing at first how to attach a bag to a car without a trunk, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy. The instructions say to load the bag with items before assembling them from the top, but that's almost impossible so I suggest putting the bag on top first and then loading the items. But I will definitely buy again! Definitely recommend putting a mat under your storage bag to avoid scratching the car and keeping the bag in place.
