I am a keen baker. I use this mat to knead and shape my dough. That's great. It's large and perfect for a countertop. It sticks to the tabletop. It will not move or slide. It is ideal for kneading dough. Close to ideal? No, it's perfect. It is fully cleaned with just a damp paper towel. Things don't like to stick to silicone, so they're surprisingly easy to clean. I wipe dry and roll. Unfold next time and it will be perfectly flat. It costs more than other mats but is twice as thick and perfect for baking bread.
