Review on Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter (Compatible with PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC) by Paul Philippe

I waited a long time before deciding to buy this Thrustmaster TH8A Add-On Transmission Shifter for PC. The main reason was that the price fluctuated quite a lot, the low was observed in the $150 area. The second reason was that I liked the shift pads on my handlebars and was happy with them. After purchasing a Sparco handbrake, it finally made sense to purchase a manual shift lever. Both depend on the Thrustmaster clip, which I also bought. I had to pay more than the base price but I'm glad I did because the item is now only available from other sellers and at a ridiculous price (over $200). Optional F458 steering wheel, TH8A shifter, Sparco handbrake and T3PA Pro pedals. I realize this is mid-range in terms of quality (compared to direct-drive bikes with load-sensing pedals), but a great dive. As for the Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter, like all other Thrustmaster devices I find it to be expensive but of excellent workmanship. Experience has shown that it works just as well as an H or series switch. Switching from one to the other requires a screwdriver and a bit of work, but I don't expect anyone to switch often. This is actually more than an H shifter as it actually has 8 slots (7 gears + reverse). It is very comfortable. durable and offers good spring feel and handling. Conclusion: Yes, I highly recommend it for the best rally experience like Dirt Rally 2 and any games where a manual transmission would be preferred. It's easy to set up, compatible with all other Thrustmaster hardware, but more than that, 5 stars.
