I used to have microfiber towels for cleaning and all and never found them any better than regular cotton towels. I've never tried this before - they really grab and suck up any oil, dirt, grease, moisture and debris on the surface being cleaned! I either use them dry or soak them in water to use. I've drilled holes for cabinet handles and used them to sweep scraps of wood off the floor and gosh they really pick up EVERYTHING. One problem is that the wood shavings stick to the microfiber and are very difficult to remove as this fan really holds on. I've got better things to do than show off my kitchen towel, but I can't help with that. One negative point is that they are very drying to hands (especially fingers) as they wick moisture away from anything they touch. I think I can wear thin gloves with it.
