The camera works great and can be attached to some monitors. The problem is to position it correctly. My monitor has a beveled edge (not flat) so it doesn't snap and stays in place. The tripod that comes with the camera is small and flimsy. One of his legs refuses to stay in place, and one wrong push tilts the entire camera, and it takes a few minutes to realign. If you can handle it, that's fine. If you can't look elsewhere or for a more compatible tripod.
