Review on Logitech Lightspeed Wireless Adjustable Programmable by Jack Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Amazing mouse for professionals and gamers

I finally had to bite the bullet and buy a new mouse after my old Logitech wired gaming mouse died after over a decade. Probably a good/combined 8 hours a day for the 10 years it's been used for work and play (we'll see how this one holds up ;P). The ergonomics of this mouse is far superior to my old one. I could never "naturally" reach the extra/widest thumb button on my old one, making it only useful for work and terrible for gaming. With this mouse, however, all the thumb buttons are naturally placed. Well, TBH, 4 out of 5 is. Fifth (solo between top and bottom pair) stretches my thumb a little, but nothing like stretching my old mouse. Maybe it's the way I hold the mouse. I don't usually/of course wrap my whole arm around it. I usually "hook" it and hover over it, reducing my arm span. The customization via the program is amazing and extremely versatile. I've already programmed specific keys for different profiles including Sketchup, AEC Collection software, 3D renderers, etc. Also, being able to customize the overall weight is great. I never thought I'd play with this originally, but for work I like having all the weights and I also like to 'switch' between clicks/steps on the scroll wheel and change it to 'freewheel' on the fly. " and smoothness. Yes. It's a feature, it's not "broken".
