Three piece french press that works very well. The first part is the plunger and the filter that presses the coffee. The second part is the outer plastic casing of the press. The third part is the inner GLASS of the press, which is inside the plastic case. Here's a cautionary note on using this French Press. I had coffee and hot water in the press and was pouring pressed coffee into a coffee mug when the inner glass slipped out of the outer plastic sleeve and shattered into several pieces. Broken and done! Could this happen to you!? Absolutely! Please note that the glass is very thin and breaks easily. Cleaning: In order to thoroughly clean this French Press you will need to remove the inner glass from the plastic case to clean both components. Some coffee residue may accumulate between the outer plastic case and the inner glass case. What holds the two pieces together is a rubber seal around the top of the glass body that forms a wedge between the outer plastic tubing. Obviously it didn't work for me! How to avoid this problem: When pouring the coffee, place at least one finger on the lid or plunger so that the inner glass does not slip out! Also, it worked really well for a French Press. I will try to contact Timecore and find a replacement lens.
