Great starter set, I've already bound 3 books with it and there's no sign of a lack of thread. Too bad I spent the extra $3 and got a bent spoke set. Advantages: 1. Inexpensive2. Everything you need to start bookbinding.3. Lots of thread (probably enough to knit 30+ books) Cons: 1. No bent needles2. The binder that came with the kit was not ready to use, I had to sand it to remove excess plastic.
