Review on πŸ” GAOHOU PH0-14 Electrode Detector for Arduino by Isaac Simpson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The board seems to work, the probe seems to be broken

Of course, this kit comes without instructions. The instructions here show two different boards - the photo differs from the schematic (6 pins vs 7 pins). What I have is the 6 pin version. The silkscreen information on the plaque appears to be simple. The board powers up, but the sensor doesn't respond to the calibration solution and is stuck at 3.78V. After some additional fiddling (connecting and disconnecting the sensor), I've verified that the board is working - I suspect the sensor is defective . I checked the behavior with an oscilloscope. So I'm almost positive they sent me a non-working probe.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
