Sad last update, after a few weeks of use everything seemed to be going fine, either the pump or venturi started to fail, period , at which point it gradually stops producing bubbles. It will probably need maintenance every two weeks to stay in tip-top shape. Never had this problem with any other skimmer that just needs a replacement drip pan. Weekly cleaning of the pump is not possible. To return! =(Worked great for my 3 gallon nano with little seahorses. Had to shield the inlet with a harsh environment to keep the seahorses from being sucked in. If you have 2 cents in your head you can figure out how to do this thing launch through the air tube. because it doesn't refuel by itself no problem, fills up quickly. Only cons, it's TERRIBLE and ONLY works for tanks without flares. However, it was the only app on the ENTIRE market that went straight to my desktop nano fitted the box in my office desk with no major pain.this is what you need if you want a place for a sump but it just doesn't work!UPDATE!it started rattling..the noise is from the pump banging against the rear wall, since it is full.. just fix it with a thin piece of insulating tape / rubber between the pump and the tank body as insulation.wah Silence!
