Here's the deal. I checked it out when I received it and as far as I can tell it looks and feels good in every way. I found no problems with it, it was beautifully carved and just looked like a good product. But after getting it, I got it in case I need it when replacing the air check valve. Turns out I could have used the old one and didn't need it. I checked it and it fits perfectly on the end of the air check valve that goes to the outlet end, so I really don't see a problem or reason why it wouldn't work well. So very well made. and since I can't say it was defective in any way, it gets 5 stars. If you must know, this was purchased to fit "ACDelco 12659290 GM OE Secondary Air Injection Shutoff and Check Valve". which I bought for my 2009 Chevrolet Impala.
