I bought one of these and was very happy. I really like the dimmable display and the "night light" option, although finding the volume buttons on the radio is very difficult. I liked it so much that I decided to buy another one for the guest room. After plugging it in, putting the batteries in and setting it up, everything was fine for a couple of days. Then the entire display went black. It turned on spontaneously, but the timing was wrong. I figured I must have left something not fully plugged in, so I checked the plugs, reset all the settings, etc. After a few days, the entire display lit up, making the watch unreadable. I can't tell if it's still on the bottom or not, but the watch is still unusable.
