Heavy weight for use as a bar carafe at home! Heavy and great quality! The cork is all glass and is pressed against the glass carafe, no "rubber" to make it crooked! (photo from my other Godinger for reference) but these are all glass stoppers, there is no plastic or rubber on the stoppers. It seems to seal very well, but don't turn it upside down because the cork (top) is loose, it can fall off, break and spill! I've wanted to decorate my bar for a long time and these decanters are awesome! They look so pretty and remind me of my grandfather's home bar (it's my grandparents' last supper that stood over his bar) that hung over my bar in the formal dining room. I have added Godinger products to my collection and you can't go wrong! High quality and very pretty!
