Ski Helmet Audio Upgrade

I purchased this item with my hard earned money and this review contains my own thoughts and opinions. I bought this product when there were very few risk assessments. As far as ski helmet headphones go, there are very few options on the market, less so for Bluetooth, which I personally didn't mind too much. The battery life is better than I expected. 2 days of skiing, most of the two days being used 6+ hours a day without needing to be charged once. I have a Smith Vantage helmet and attaching the headphones was as easy as opening the back/underside of the earpad and inserting. Personally, I left the foam inserts in place in the ear cushions, which made the ear cushions a little tight. Next season I can either remove the foam or try to trim/thin it. In addition, these headphones must be sufficiently weatherproof, which is essential for a ski helmet. The sound quality was sufficient. The base is very small and I used it at the lowest volume on my phone, or the second lowest which allowed me to still be able to talk to my ski buddies at the lift and hear the music and it was still quite loud , while I could ski just hear them and still listen to my surroundings. By the way, I usually listen to music at the minimum phone volume. The device also has a built-in microphone for phone calls, but I haven't made or received any calls to test this. Appropriate device control. Play/Pause/Power is easy to operate while lifting without removing gloves. I found the volume/pre-song much harder to use. When I was trying to promote a song, I usually just turned up the volume. That probably has a lot to do with the orientation of the ear cups in the ear cups. This is a great buy if you want to add basic sound to your ski helmet.
