I am renovating a Jr. Harmony Strat style guitar for my grand-niece who is now 5 years old and as I am a hobbyist I bought this guitar from Goodwill and replaced the dot inlays Abalone, crafted a beaded fretboard, upgraded the pickup to Wilkenson and Gohot machine heads. I use water-based General Finish Glossy Clear and add pigments. This is a Blueberry Reverse Blast and the photo was taken so you can see the colors but I still need to do some final sanding and polishing. First I applied dark blue and after about 15 coats of purple I had what you see on the chair. but the final grinding and polishing has not yet been done.
