Okay I'm sure many of you are wondering if this is the same as the Rokinon 8mm Cine Fisheye. My answer is yes. Both are under the Samyang brand. My friend has a Rokinon 8mm fisheye cine lens for his canon t4i. It seemed like a great lens and I wanted a fisheye, I had a hard time finding a used one for my Sony A65 (as I buy my lenses used) until I found the Bower brand. I got it a few weeks ago and I love it. Images are crisp, colors are great and it has pretty good build quality despite being plastic. Almost everything in the lens is sharp all the time (I leave mine at infinity) and there is a lot of distortion, and the focus and aperture ring is very smooth and quiet. Comparing it with my friends I noticed that there were a few SMALL differences between my pawn and his Rokinon, firstly mine has a detachable hood and he doesn't and secondly my jar is a bit bigger. Well I think the reason for these differences is that he has cs1 and I have cs2 which is a bit newer. After all, Samyang, Bower, Rokinon are all the same, just take what you can find cheaper. These are some of the best lenses money can buy and we highly recommend them!
