I have a fairly high pain tolerance, so using this product on my legs didn't feel anything - maybe a slight tingling sensation. In any case, this has nothing to do with the ICE cooling feature that some of the more expensive IPL hair removers have. I've been using it for about a week and my hair growth seems to be slowing down a bit. This seems too good to be true considering most laser hair removal specialists charge hundreds or even thousands of dollars for similar results. I can imagine it being helpful in the summer as I don't feel like shaving every week. Most other IPL hair removal products are not that cheap so I would definitely recommend this one if you are new to this type of hair removal.
