I managed to get the spinner to do everything advertised. It takes a little practice to master the rotation technique, but once you've mastered it you'll feel a good load on your forearms. The counter also worked as advertised and you can track your activity. However, after 30 days something broke inside and now it no longer starts and is therefore unusable. I didn't even have time to remove the protective film from the frame as the spinner broke. I'm not a big strong person so I have to say the spring inside has to be cheap enough to only last a month. I'm trying to get the company to fix it under warranty but you have to go to their website for a phone number and then call and get authorization to return the spinner. And they won't be repaired if the damage is the result of "normal wear and tear," so who knows what that means. So far I haven't been able to get anyone to answer the call, so it's likely they're just messing up the meter.
