Used on 2 projects, needle doesn't scratch. Compared to my aluminum short knitted points, it is very light and eye-catching, even if the cord is heavier than the needles. The end is sharp but not sharp yet. My short crochet crochet stick leaves marks on my fingers when knitting, like running cords to bandage points, but they don't pierce my skin or leave marks, although they're sharp. I've never used them for lace but they're still too big for this size 7 so only acrylic and wool that fit well. The only downside is that they aren't ideal for beginner knitters or those who have a bad knitting habit at the tips as the tips are half an inch long and the wrong thickness, unlike my knitting pad set which was after one the correct thickness reaches quarters of an inch. . If you are not used to this distance, you also have to get used to knitting further down the needle. Stainless steel has a bit more resistance and isn't as buttery smooth as aluminum tips. They also don't have the sound of falling metal and don't jingle as loudly as others when knitting, if that's important to you. When they fall on the table, it's closer to wooden needles than aluminum needles. The connection of the cord is even, although the wire itself bends inward and does not straighten out, most likely due to the packaging, at least the needle is perfectly straight. I won't see the coral break anytime soon.
