Better than permanent heating

Most small tank heaters are unregulated, have no set temperature and are always on. They are designed to heat water, whatever it is, a few degrees above room temperature. These heaters allow the water temperature to fluctuate with room temperature, which can be difficult for some fish. If you buy such a heater and put it in a pool that is too small, you will overheat. It will not do its job in a tank that is too large. I was looking for the smallest heater I could get for a 1/2 gallon tank. I tried an always-on 10-watt heater from a local pet store, but it pushed the water temperature out of my comfort zone. The Aquarium Nano Heater differs from the permanent heaters for small aquariums: The temperature is 77Β° (+/- 2 degrees) and switches off automatically when the set temperature is reached. My 1/2 gallon tank stays at a solid 78Β° for several days, despite the refrigerator. Conditions. It didn't overheat the water and didn't let the temperature fluctuate. While my ideal heater would be adjustable, finding an adjustable heater of this size and wattage is simply not possible. I am happy with this heater because it keeps the temperature stable and I don't have to worry about the fish being cooked. When purchasing this heater, make sure it is suitable for your aquarium. I've used it successfully in a 1/2 gallon tank, but if your tank is much larger the heater may not be powerful enough.
