Quite accurate within .0001. Took measurements with several precision gage blocks ranging from .1" to .9" on a surface plate and all measurements were within .0001, with repeatable results. Pleasantly surprised.

- Used it for a physics experiment. It worked and made it easier as the previous one used was not digital

- The device is easily affected by electromagnetic interference, resulting in inaccurate readings
