I really wanted to love these boxes as did other reviewers but the poor quality of the foam inserts really makes these boxes almost useless to me. The boxes themselves are very beautiful, sturdy and well made. So if you don't need liners and are just looking for a well-made little box, these are fine. I used a black embossed ring box from a major packaging supplier and I LOVE those boxes, but the rest of my packaging is recycled kraft paper and I wanted my ring boxes to match everything else, so I struggled to find the right size for a while i found her The size and kraft material was exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately the flocked foam inserts are 1/4 thinner than what I used and more importantly the foam itself is VERY low density and cheap, but the velvety flocking is also a very cheap feel. If you have to adjust a pre-cut slot to accommodate a wider than usual band ring (that's basically what I'm selling), the foam will somehow fall apart and the flocking will break unevenly, even with scissors. Also the styrofoam isn't thick enough so the ring band sticks out a bit from the bottom of the styrofoam which is a really bad fit when you put the styrofoam back in the box and the ring bottom doesn't let it into the box too well. Crate. Overall the price is pretty good considering you don't have to pay for shipping and the boxes themselves are great quality. Just don't expect too much from bets. I can try cutting the cotton batting to add as an extra layer under the foam for more support, but I'm not thrilled with how my ring stands up to cheap flock and foam, so I really don't recommend it if you need it . to use them to wrap rings. Throw away the earplugs and you have a pretty box.
