I raised my Delta model from the 50's so I could cut thin sections for construction tools. I bought this and a set of Timberwolf Blades for the same purpose. I happened to pick it up first and I have to say I'm impressed. It doesn't seem to have any problem with the voltage used and leaves a very nice clean finish. Once properly tensioned, drifting is no problem. I could easily cut 1/8" thick slabs of cherry and walnut that were 8" wide.
