Review on OTC 7311A Pitman Arm Puller by Dave Russell

Worked great to separate the intermediate arm (BMW E38) from the tie rod which was too small for a standard fixed arm puller. I thought the hold down bolt reach was too short, it only had about 3 threads to push through. He separated the joint about 1.5 turns after tightening with his fingers. I tightened the screws covering the jaws with a wrench to make sure they wouldn't slip off. My fixed jaw puller bent and slipped off. None of the pullers in my cheap front end service kit from the online cheap tool store will fit this connection. This is a good, heavy duty, durable puller.
