This unit has been working properly for about 4 months and is now very noisy. In fact, so loud that I will buy a new case to get a more reliable and quieter fan. The device was used very easily in a highly controlled climate environment. I actually made sure there was no hair or anything else in the fan. During this process I lose power to the Ethernet functions which is one of the reasons I bought this item in the first place. Because I will not buy something like this after the experience I just had with this one. Also note that the connector pins had to be carefully and neatly trimmed with wire cutters to fit a case designed specifically for Poe hats of this form factor. So if you NEED power over ethernet, spend a little money and get a more reliable name.?
