This Frigidaire part has extended the life of my Kenmore 790.96122405 electric range made by Frigidaire. Plug and size were exactly the same as the old block. Basically, disconnect about 5 individual color-coded wires from the connectors, then unplug the pin header. 4 hex screws hold the device in place. If you want to reuse the cover of the original device, carefully remove it and put it back on the new device. The tape around the perimeter of the face is very tacky and in my haste I accidentally ripped a small patch of white enamel from the back of the clear plastic, Some White Out, to give a few extra minutes of drying time and covered the small areas that caused by too much pressure or flexing in one area of the small screwdriver I used to pry it off. The oven works like new again, with no error codes or shutdown problems. The temperature sensor I replaced last week didn't solve my problems. Definitely glad I tried this part out before putting the stove on the curb.
