We recently lost our 15 year old puppy and really think we could find him if we had this tracker. I won't go into the months of search history, but suffice it to say that if we had this Tracactive that was able to turn on the live search function, we'd probably still have that beloved and perpetually bored dog. Now we have a new puppy and we want to do our best to make sure he is doing well. We did extensive research before purchasing and concluded that the features, benefits, and overall value of this model are the best. Firstly, it is very light, attaches very securely to its own collar - it even swims with it! She has worn it all the time since she was 4 months old and now she is 5 months old and weighs 17 pounds. We tested it for location and it was accurate using the live feed feature from our house and following her route for over a mile when one of us took her for a walk and someone tracked her from out of our house. The battery life is amazing if you only use the live streaming feature for a short time. Only needed if your dog really ran away and you want to find his last location, turn him off and follow him. The activity tracking part is also very interesting and extremely user friendly - our new dog is incredibly energetic so it's interesting to see how he's doing locally and globally. It takes a little time playing around with the app to figure everything out and I highly recommend you do so as I don't want to try and figure it out if my dog was lost! It's very simple, but you can lose valuable minutes!
