is a replacement for the last two , that I had. See, I have a cat that likes to hit her, so I have to replace her. I have four cats and the first door lasted about 17 years, the second lasted 2 years but we'll see with this one. I just have a few issues with it. 1) The two red and green stop sliders are very difficult to move and sometimes require work on both sides, so I'm glad the weather is getting warmer. 2) They seem very fragile. and I'm not sure how long it will take for them to break. 3) The swing door does not open very easily. 4) There is a large air gap with a gasket, so we have to cover it at night to keep out the cold. the air is out. I've been using it for about a month and I'm still holding it. The reason I gave two stars for the installation is because I used the template provided first, which is nowhere near the truth. After enlarging the existing hole to the size of the drawing, I was still embarrassed to be close. So I had to track the real door, and then everything worked fine. I would recommend that you start by tracing the actual door on the template and then cut it out. A 3 STAR RATING originally gave this a better rating, but now that I've put more time into it, I definitely wouldn't buy this item again. As for the weather, it just fell off not that it was that good to begin with. So save your money and find another product that will hopefully be better.
